A fantastic opportunity as a Senior Software Test Engineer has arisen with my client, a provider of graphics technology to the print and pre-press industry. Available on many industry standard platforms, their technology is made available in toolkit form for developers to extend or integrate into their own project. Their clients also require them to integrate portions of their software into their proprietary embedded systems. The projects will involve porting of this technology onto embedded platform operating systems, such as VxWorks, interfacing to hardware and software subsystems on the target platform. My client want the successful candidate to fill a Senior Software Test Engineer within the Software Test Team. This role will be primarily focused on testing RIPs in an embedded environment and testing other products. Principal responsibilities include constructing and executing test plans and tracking problems and their solutions using in-house management tools. You should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the publishing*printing industry gained in software testing and*or development using visual C++. This is a fantastic opportunity as a result of growth, with a rapidly expanding organisation, paying upto Ј45k for the successful applicant.
